Audra is not a native Texan but fondly calls Texas home! She brings more than 25 years of Accounting, Technical and Management experience to Gilbert Plumbing Company. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Economics as well as a Master’s in CIS. Audra has had the unique opportunity to learn from, work with and help teach the generations of the Gilbert family she’s worked alongside. In her multiple roles since joining the team in 1997, she has been given the autonomy to employ her knowledge and skill set to help shape the success of the company. When asked she will tell you to be given that level of trust is so rare and the main reason why she’s remained a part of the team for so long. When Audra isn’t working, she spends her time with friends, family, and the fur babies. She has an unrelenting passion for cooking and fashion. Loves to read, explore new things and jets back to her roots in Michigan as often as she can.

The eldest son of Jack Gilbert and eldest Grandson of the late Pat L. Gilbert, Patrick Leighton Gilbert is the 4th generation of men from the Gilbert family to adopt a role at Gilbert Plumbing Company. Working for the company on and off from a young age, Leighton Gilbert took up a permanent position at the company after returning home from college in 2014, where he has spent over a decade working alongside his father, and Grandfather until his Grandfather’s passing in 2022. He currently works in Project Management for Gilbert Plumbing, and oversees multiple projects around the Houston area. A married father of three, he is very active in the Houston community as a churchgoer, competitive martial artist, competition shooter, and defensive handgun instructor.

Shane Pugh joined Gilbert Plumbing Company’s team in 2020. Before joining our team, he held various positions in the Construction Industry for more than 25 years including Pipe Fitter & Plumbing Apprentice until earning his Plumbing license in 2006 along with his Med Gas in 2008. He continued his path as a job site Foreman and Superintendent prior to becoming a Project Manager in 2014. Shane has enjoyed living in Texas, graduating from high school in a small East Texas town named Newton. He spends his free time hunting at his parent’s property there and intends to retire in a place just like it.

Tonja has been a dedicated member of the Gilbert family for over two decades. Starting in 2004 as an Administrative Assistant and Change Order Coordinator, she advanced her career, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a focus in Accounting in 2012. Since August 2017, she has excelled as a Project Manager, leveraging her strong background in accounting, material procurement, budgeting, and project planning to successfully manage multiple projects. Tonja balances her demanding career with a fulfilling personal life, enjoying time with her large family and pursuing her passions for gardening and shopping.

Thomas Zigrang is a Plumbing Estimator with over 35 years of experience working on projects from Houston Sports Facilities & Venues to Multifamily High-Rise Apartments and Condominiums. Tom specializes in the multifamily plumbing industry using progressive estimating software systems to provide a competitive edge to our bidding process. He believes in teamwork and has a strong commitment to his team and the projects that he is assigned to. In his free time, Tom enjoys doing improvement projects around the house with his wife.

Wesley “Wes” Hall has been a valued employee of Gilbert Plumbing since May 2014. He brings a unique set of skills to the organization that really sets him apart from the team. He functions as our Warehouse Manager and Purchasing Agent however that only begins to describe what he contributes on a daily basis to keep the operations running smoothly. Outside of Gilbert Plumibng, Wes enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with friends and family.

Mike originated from and grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and made his way to Houston in 2008. He joined the team at Gilbert Plumbing that same year. He has enjoyed many roles in his 27 years of plumbing experience however, Mike shines in his leadership. As Field Superintendent, he is responsible for managing Gilbert’s field resources, maintaining project continuity, and solving issues that arise day to day. He leads by example while prioritizing safety, quality control, and team motivation. These goals and his commitment to success are what makes him such a good fit for the Gilbert family. He recognizes how essential it is for all field personnel to have the resources they need to get the job done right and on time. When Mike is away from work, he spends time with his family, indulging in his passion for cooking!

Griffin is a born and raised Houstonian and the only daughter of Jack Gilbert. She was a four-year collegiate athlete and studied Business Administration at Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma. After college, she moved back home to watch her baby brother grow up and become “Aunt GG” to her two nephews and niece. Griffin joined the family business as a full-time employee in September 2019. She takes great pride in working for her dad, Jack Gilbert, as a fourth generation. She values the time spent every day learning and growing in the family business. When Griffin is not working, she is spending time with her family, going to concerts, or traveling.

Karen Zwick began her employment as a Change Order Specialist at Gilbert Plumbing Company, LP in 2020. Originally from Cedar Rapids, IA, Karen has lived in multiple locations before making Houston, TX, her home in 2012. She is skilled in administration, is highly organized, detail-oriented, computer proficient, and loves to tackle new challenges. Her ability to multitask, track budgets, and stay focused makes her a valuable asset to the company. Karen enjoys collaborating with the Project Managers, Accounting personnel and our customers throughout every project. Before joining our team, she organized automotive tradeshows and seminar events, managed her household as a stay-at-home-mom, and spent five years employed by a school district. Karen has been married for over 20 years, she is a proud mother of two daughters who are either in college or preparing for it. She can usually be found vacationing at a Disney Park or on a beach, her two loves!
