Jack Gilbert

Jack Gilbert has a long and distinguished legacy in the Houston contracting industry. He is the third generation owner of Gilbert Plumbing Company, succeeding his father Pat Gilbert and grandfather Jack Gilbert Sr. Contracting runs deep in his family. His grandmother was a Berger from the famous Houston company Berger Ironworks founded in 1893. His maternal grandfather founded the Houston company M.L. Rendleman Co. and Fiberglass Insulators. Jack’s family has been helping build Houston for over 100 years! Jack graduated from Texas Tech University in 1988 with a BA in Business. Upon graduation, he briefly entered the commercial real estate business before joining Gilbert Plumbing Company to work with his father. He continues to lead his company in current industry trends and innovations. Jack married the love of his life, Holly Gilbert, in 1988 whom he met at Texas Tech. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Their oldest son Leighton and daughter Griffin are both employed at Gilbert Plumbing Company. Together with their father they are leading the company into the next generation of excellence.
